Workshops
(parallell tracks)

This year we have two hands-on workshops for the technically interested.

  1. MLOps: Take Your Data Science Projects from the Lab to the Real World, hosted by Google

This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about MLOps and how to implement it in their organization. More than half of data science projects never make it into production. ML Ops is an ML engineering culture and practice that aims at unifying a set of standardized processes and capabilities for building, deploying, and operationalizing ML systems rapidly and reliably. During the workshop, you will learn how to implement the MLOps framework. We will include a hands-on lab in the workshop so that you will learn how to produce a custom ML model and interact with the model.

  2. Create with AI: A hands-on workshop, hosted by Tekna

Explore the world of generative content and learn how to use AI to create unique works. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of generative AI and how to apply it to various creative projects. Are you struggling to tell a new story to your kid every evening? Or perhaps you've always dreamed of creating your own small cookbook of 18th-century recipes? Or a book of career advice for fellow data scientists? Whatever your vision may be, this workshop is designed to help you create your little masterpiece to take home in a digital format.

12:30 - 13:30

Lunch break

Enjoy a tasty lunch, mingle and check out the stand of our Platinum sponsor DNB right outside the main stage area.

Our Gold sponsors will host lunch tables, where they will lead the conversation on data science topics. Join these tables and get in on the conversation. The tables will be clearly marked with the host and theme.

  • Schibsted’s lunch tables will be themed around data science and machine learning tools. Here, you will discuss best practices and challenges of having a productive setup.
Join our table if you want to learn about what makes the daily work of data professionals effective. We're also eager to hear and discuss things that make us less productive and share our experiences in what we can do to improve DS/ML ergonomics.

  • For lunch, NAV will serve two of our favourite topics! NAV is modernising the welfare state, and AI and data science can help us achieve this. How can we make sure the citizens rights are upheld when introducing new technology? Join our data scientists to discuss how we work with responsible AI (table 1) and data driven product development (table 2) at NAV.
